About

Built by a lineman

I'm Jacob Smith, an IBEW journeyman lineman. I've been tramping around the country since my apprenticeship, and I'm coming up on 13 years in the trade. I know what this work does to your body.

I also know how hard it is to get consistent health care when you're in a different state every few months. Getting my labs checked and working with a provider changed how I take care of myself, and it showed me how hard that is to keep up from the road. So I built Hard Money Health so your care can move when you do, and Better Half Health for the ones holding it down at home.
